New iPhone Photo Painting App - AutoPainter
I'm continually surprised by the quality of image manipulation being generated on the iPhone. AutoPainter now joins a growing list of tools I will use when I'm interested in a creating a different emotional response from a photo.
You have four pre-set styles to choose from, Aquarell, Benson, Cezanne and Van Gogh. The Cezanne and Van Gogh styles will not be great for a lot of scenes, but there will be shots that will look amazing. I love the Aquarell style. It works well on both landscapes and people. Worth a play and fun to watch the scenes develop. Also of note, running the process a second time on the same photo produces a slightly different result.
