Photoshop.com Mobile For iPhone - Free

The editing features didn't wow me, but the user experience is amazing. Adobe took full advantage of the touch screen and made the entire image the effect slider. Very easy to use. And fast on my 3Gs.

Recent #hashtag support. This will come in very handy during conferences.

New Tweetie 2 Features

Tweetie 2 for the iPhone is out and it's filled with some very nice features, not the least of which is threaded direct messages (not pictured). Below are some screen captures.

I like the new "quote tweet" feature and the options to add user data to your address book. The follower features will be of more value to me in their desktop app, since I rarely use my iPhone to vet followers.

All in all, it feels familiar and improved. I just wish it would have sucked in the 8 accounts I had set up in Tweetie 1. So, I'm off to add some accounts. :)

Photo Sketch iPhone App

This is for Mark Murashige (right). We just met today, and he has a passion for creative iPhone apps. So I just happened to stumble on this one in the cab after our brunch meeting and thought I'd use a photo of him and my friend Frank Godchaux as a sample.

Photo Sketch is a fun little photo editing app that turns your photos into a digital representation of a pencil or charcoal sketch. I've been playing with it for about 30 minutes and I really like it. Worth a try!

Fun Wth Kodak's SmileMaker iPhone App

What better way to give Kodak's new SmileMaker iPhone app a try than with a red carpet photo of Summer Jones from the Emmys. Fun is the only purpose for this app. (It's still OK to have fun, right?)

PanCamera - Worst iPhone Pano App Ever

Save yourself $2.99 and don't even try PanCamera. It automatically snaps photos as you rotate your iPhone around, but after eight attempts in different light, I'm now convinced this is the worst iPhone pano app ever. Period.

The first example above uses PanCamera, the second uses AutoStitch. Yes, it does take a few minutes longer to use AutoStitch, but it works. I think that's probably a good feature.

PicPosterous Adds Descriptions

A new PicPosterous update was released on the iTunes store today. It adds the ability to add descriptions to your "album" entries. It's nice to see a quick fix to what was a weakness in the first release.

Well done Posterous.
