Time To Test Some Other Phones?
Don't get me wrong, I love my iPhone. But I get asked to give my opinion on different cell phones and which one is the best and I really can't give a great response if I've not "lived " with the other options. Maybe it's time to do some comparitive tests.
What phones should I test against the iPhone?

You have rocked my world with this idea. I think the iphone is probably the best for using facebook, twitter etc. and it takes great photos and has all those apps that other phones don't have. You need to decide what you most need a phone for and test one based on a business or personal need.

Anything G2 related. I am very interested to know how soon the open source community is going to overtake the iPhone app store. Thanks for "living" with other phones for us.

What's the "out of the box" experience? I figure if I can't easily figure it out off the bat, then the learning curve is likely more than I want to deal with. You said in your video that your experience so far hasn't been fabulous. When you're dealing with something like a phone that's going to have so many different applications - ways you use it - if it's not intuitive out of the box than I say drop it.

I generally agree, Jeremy. However, coming from an iPhone, I do have some preconditioned behaviors that I think need to be moved out of the way in order to judge fairly. That may require me to "play" with a phone for a bit and then judge.

Had to come back and look to make sure I got it right. I didn't get it right. you are testing G3 phones and comparing them to the iPhone. Sounds like fun I will be waiting for the results.

I have been exceptionally please with my BB Curve. When the new BB Tour comes out next year, I'm likely to get that, as it's supposed to have wi-fi.
